National Training of Trainers

A set of people were selected and trained from the 25 Pilot Dioceses based on meeting the predetermined criteria. The National Trainers for the CONPREVENTGBV project had comprehensive face-to-face training with subsequent additional Zoom training. The TOT program was designed to equip these individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively train others in the GBV prevention field, using our already created comprehensive curriculum. They were subsequently empowered to train the Leadership and other Staff and Volunteers of the Dioceses. This meeting was held with the ACADI National office at the All Saints Guest House, 29 Tamale House Abuja from 23^rd – 26^th January 2024. After that, they were sent back to their dioceses to carry out the proposed activities and step-down training following the project timelines. The provincial officers were appointed by their fellow diocesan desk officers, and they were each given a mobile phone to enable in the monitoring of the activities across the dioceses working with them.
